Dr. Kristie Welsh was raised in Western Kentucky on a small farm. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Biology and later received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. After graduation, she moved to Florida in 2004 to practice in the Sunshine State. Throughout the years, she has moved further south and closer to the beach. She finally ended up in beautiful Cape Coral where she lives with her husband, Chris, son, KC and three miniature dachshunds.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family at the beach or the pool. She also enjoys living vicariously through her son who has just joined a golf group and is a natural at singing, dancing and playing various instruments. She also likes to play the flute, speed walk, take naps with the furry ones and sing. For now, she is enjoying every second of her furry babies while they live out the last several years of their lives.
The furry children consist of Keegan, female, 14 y.o., who is red-sable and long haired, Keely, female, 13, who is a smooth-coated silver double dapple and Kaiden, male, 12, who is a black and brindle long haired doxie. All three are very special and loved greatly by the entire family especially KC who is 7 y.o.
